Two years ago we met church planter Paul McDaniel on a missions project in the Richmond, VA area.  We spent a week working with Paul and his family as they planted a new church in an unreached area.  Family Life Church, the church plant, has been around for almost 3 years and they’re growing strong.  In church plant life though 3 years is still new.  So this summer we’re going to go back and help Paul and his church accomplish some huge outreach to their community.  It’s going to be an amazing week. The dates are July 19-26.  Here’s the big thing...we can only take 15 people.  The cost for the week is $90.  Registration begins on Sunday, March 9.  The first 15 (including chaperones) are in...we’ll add others if we are able.  A $40 deposit is due with your registration.  You can register in the youth room. Activity, Retreats, Grade, All Youth 2008-07-19T15:49:00-05:00 http://northwoodyouth.com/index/events/article/summersalt_returns/ http://northwoodyouth.com/index/events/article/summersalt_returns/#When:15:28:00Z The summer camp dates are set.  We’ll be returning to Summersalt for camp.  So what is Summersalt… Summersalt is the yearly camp hosted by the South Carolina Baptist Convention Youth Ministries department.  OK so that means absolutely nothing to most of you.  But that translates to this...hilariously funny counselors, a band that rocks, and spiritual truth from God in ways you’ve never heard it before.  It’s an exciting week open to all students in 7th-12th grade.  There are separate tracks for Junior High and High School students so that things are more targeted for each group. This year Summersalt is June 23-27 at White Oak Conference Center.  Early registration camp cost for the week is $150 a person before April 1.  After April 1 the cost moves to $175 a person.  A $40 deposit is required at registration (that $40 is part of the $150 cost).  You can register at the registration box in the Youth Room.
