The Jr. High Girls small group kicks off on April 3 at the home of Christy Glover.  This small group is open to all 7th & 8th grade girls and is being led by Christy Glover and Haley Chambers.  Opening night is from 6:00-8:30 and involves a good movie and an opening to the 8 weeks of small group.  They’ll be gathering each Thursday night from 6:30 to 8:00 in either Mrs. Christy or Mrs. Haley’s home.  For details or directions you can contact Christy at 821-7438 or Haley at 270-6616.

The new Chronicles of Narnia movie Prince Caspian opens this night.  We’re taking a large group outing to check it out.  We are going on opening night, May 16.  We’ll be enjoying the 7:30 showing at the Azalea Square theater in Summerville.  Tickets are $7.50 for students and should be purchased in advance either through the youth ministry (by May 11) or individually.

The summer camp dates are set.  We’ll be returning to Summersalt for camp.  So what is Summersalt…

The big summer missions project is under way.  We’re returning to Mechanicsville, Virginia to help a church planter.

A full day of roller-coasters ending in a concert!  It’s the Big Youth Thing at Carowinds featuring Mercy Me.  Admission is $30 and is due by July 13, 2007.

The Jr. High retreat - part two.  We return to Bonnie Doone for a spiritual retreat weekend.  The weekend cost is a mere $10.
